Wrap the Bug Review - appyzilla.com

We’ve all done some crazy things when we were kids but one thing I still remember doing and like doing is killing bugs. I’ve always enjoyed killing bugs in my free time and man, I’ve got some numbers of my own but the thing I don’t like about killing bugs is hands getting dirty. So, I looked up for some games on the app store to kill bugs without getting my hands dirty. An app that really caught my attention was Wrap the Bug, which is based on the concept of killing bugs through a swipe, trapping those bugs into tiny bubbles and finish them off.

What’s unique about Wrap the Bug is the way you kill those bugs and the process of their dying, it’s amazing. After a swipe, they get trapped into tiny bubbles and vanish. The game has two different modes, Classic and Jungle, the classic mode contains a few more levels of its own. As you progress through each level it adds more bugs for you to kill – they come out of the screen so quickly, you don’t even get a chance to adjust your fingers, this is how fast those creepy little monsters are. The classic mode has lives whereas the Jungle mode has no lives, you get two minutes to kill as many bugs as you can. That sounds easy, well not, every game comes with hurdles. In this game you will have to be careful of big leaves and clouds which would stop you from killing those bugs, they could put some serious damage by breaking your bubbles.

The graphics and sounds of the bugs are unique and slightly childish, specially when they are about to die. In all, Wrap the Bug is a really fun game to play with it’s unique gameplay and easy-to-use interface and the level of excitement created by those creepy bugs is extraordinary, you just want to get rid of them. A frenetic, challenging game with great presentation and superb design overall.
